The Muni is located at 815 East Lake Drive in Springfield, Illinois.

Our outdoor amphitheatre is exactly 2.5 miles east of the I-55 Stevenson Drive exit. To find the theater from that intersection, travel east across the Lake Springfield dam and continue on East Lake Drive. The site is on your left just past the Lincoln Greens golf course.

Located in the southeast area of the city, The Muni is near many fine hotels and restaurants. Many are located near the intersection of Stevenson Drive and Dirksen Parkway.

The hometown of President Abraham Lincoln, Springfield is rich in American history. Visitors may tour the Lincoln family home and visit the final resting place of the President and his family at the Lincoln Tomb in Oak Ridge Cemetery. A short drive away, the restored pioneer village of New Salem depicts life in an 1800’s settlement, where Lincoln spent his days as a young man.
