During the summer of 1955, a rock-and-roll-loving motorcyclist stops at a garage in a small Midwestern town because his bike needs repair. Natalie, the young mechanic with dreams of hitting the road, immediately falls for the charismatic rebel and goes to great lengths and disguise to be with him. Many hilarious love triangles unfold, all set to some of the best rock and roll songs ever written.
