When Do Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 27. Donors in our Backstagers club may purchase tickets as early as April 13, and season pass holders may purchase tickets on April 20.

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the UIS Performing Arts Center box office located at One University Plaza, MS PAC 292, Springfield, IL or by calling (217) 793-MUNI (6864). Tickets may also be purchased 90 minutes prior to the show at the Muni box office, outside the Muni gate.

I have a season pass, how do I reserve my seats?

Season pass holders may reserve their seats by visiting the UIS Performing Arts Center box office located at One University Plaza, MS PAC 292, Springfield, IL or by calling (217) 793-MUNI (6864).

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free and located just outside the Muni gates. As you arrive, a volunteer will usher your vehicle to a parking spot. Please note that this is a grassed lot. If you require assistance, we offer patrons the option of a free ride via golf cart to the Muni gate.

When do the gates open prior to the performance?

The gates open one hour prior to show time.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive after the performance starts an usher can provide assistance in helping find you find a seat if needed.

Is the Muni site ADA accessible?

Yes, the Muni site is ADA accessible. For assistance in purchasing an accessible, reserved seat please call (217) 793-MUNI (6864).

Is there a designated smoking section?

Smoking is only permitted outside the Muni gates.

Are food and drinks allowed on property?

Yes, the Muni sells concessions including hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream and sandwiches among other items to patrons prior to the show and during intermission. We also provide picnic tables for those who wish to bring food and drinks on property.

Can I take pictures or record video during the performance?

Picture taking and video recording are prohibited during the performance. However, you are welcome to request pictures with the performers following the performance.

I missed the performance, do you offer refunds or exchanges?

At this time, the Muni does not offer refunds or exchanges. However, if a rain delay occurs, cancelling the show prior to the second act, patrons may use their ticket stub to see another performance of the same show. For more information, please review our inclement weather policy.

Can I purchase tickets as a holiday gift?
