When Do Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets go on sale to the general public in late April each year.

 

Donors in our Backstagers club may purchase tickets in early April each year.

Where do I buy tickets?

Click here for Season Pass information. Tickets may also be purchased 90 minutes prior to the show at the Muni box office, outside the Muni gate.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free and located just outside the Muni gates. As you arrive, a volunteer will usher your vehicle to a parking spot. Please note that this is a grassed lot. If you require assistance, we offer patrons the option of a free ride via golf cart to the Muni gate.

When do the gates open prior to the performance?

The gates open one hour prior to show time.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive after the performance starts an usher can provide assistance in helping find you find a seat if needed.

Accessibility

The Muni site is ADA accessible. For assistance in purchasing an accessible, reserved seat please call (217) 793-MUNI (6864).

Patrons are asked to request accessible services two weeks before a performance to give our volunteers sufficient time to make appropriate arrangements. Please note that all services may not be available for every performance and that requests will be processed in the order they are received.

Is there a designated smoking section?

Smoking is only permitted outside the Muni gates.

Are food and drinks allowed on property?

Yes, the Muni sells concessions including hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream and sandwiches among other items to patrons prior to the show and during intermission. We also provide picnic tables for those who wish to bring food and drinks on property.

Can I take pictures or record video during the performance?

Picture taking and video recording are prohibited during the performance. However, you are welcome to request pictures with the performers following the performance.

I missed the performance, do you offer refunds or exchanges?

At this time, the Muni does not offer refunds or exchanges. However, if a rain delay occurs, cancelling the show prior to the second act, patrons may use their ticket stub to see another performance of the same show. For more information, please review our inclement weather policy.

How do I recover my “Lost and Found” items?

Can I purchase tickets as a holiday gift?

Yes! Season passes make excellent gifts for friends and families. Visit our ticket page for more information.
